Sindh University awarded M.Phil Degree to Benish Siddiqui in Zoology

Jamshoro: 21 Feb: Sindh University (Usindh) has announced that The Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) of the University of Sindh Wednesday approved to award degrees in various disciplines to 12 M. Phil and 15 PhD research scholars after considering the reports of experts and fulfillment of all requirements. The approval was accorded in 115th meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board, which was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nazir Ahmed Mughal here.

The award of degrees to each MPhil and PhD research scholar was decided in light of reports of experts and examiners presented by Deans of the Faculties concerned, whereas all the supervisors of the research scholars were also called in the meeting to finalize the cases. The meeting was attended by all the members of board Registrar Mohammad Nawaz Narejo, Dr. Anwar Ali Shah G. Syed, Dr. Imdad Ali Ismaili, Dr Abdul Sattar Almani, Dr Abida Taherani, Dr Basir Ahmed Arain, Ghulam Mohammad Lakho, Dr. Akhtar Mughal, controller of examinations Prof Dr. Naeem Tariq Narejo, Dr. Abdullah Dayo, Dr Mohammad Anwar Khan Pathan, Dr Parveen Munshi, Dr. Mohammad Siddique Kalhoro, Dr Akhtar Mughal, Dr Noor Afroz Khuwaja and others. Talking in the meeting, the vice chancellor Dr. Nazir Ahmed Mughal said that he got different patterns of research prepared by the scholars which was not a good thing. “We ought to design a pattern so that uniform research system may be introduced & implemented in the varsity”, the vice chancellor said adding that the identical pattern of the research work will enable the scholars to move ahead in the field of research with the same way.
