KU to 'coordinate' with LEAs for students' security

KARACHI:06 september: The officials of University of Karachi (UoK) have decided to coordinate and take assistance from the Law Enforcing Agencies (LAEs) for the security of the students and campus. The decision was taken by Prof Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan, UoK's Vice Chancellor in a meeting held on Tuesday. The meeting was also attended by the members of Syndicate, Academic Council, Deans, Students' Advisor and Registrar. Meanwhile, Spokesperson of the varsity clarified that no record of KU students was scrutinized and there was no condition of submission of conduct certificate from the relevant police station.
