Karachi Education reforms

Karachi:06 september:Despite the efforts made by both the federal and provincial governments, the education sector of the country keeps declining at a fast pace. The number of out-of-school children is increasing every year. The rise of private schools and the poor performance of government schools have made the matter worse for the people, especially the poor. Most of the families in Pakistan are living below the poverty line. They cannot afford to send their children to private education institutions. But they have no choice.

It is the responsibility of the government to improve the standard of education in government schools. Qualified teachers should be appointed who can teach children in an efficient manner. Students should be encouraged to take part in extra-curricular activities so that they may compete with students that have completed their studies from private education institutions. A complete restructuring of the education sector is the need of the hour, if we want to see a progressive and educated Pakistan. The news.
