Nasir announces establishment of nursing hospital in Landhi

KARACHI:July 2: Sindh Minister for Transport & Mass Transit, Labour, Human Resources and Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that a nursing hospital would be soon established linked with the Social Security Hospital Landhi.

The hospital comes under Sindh Employees' Social Security Institution (SESSI).

He said this during his visit of Social Security Landhi Hospital on Saturday. He visited various parts of hospital and met patients including, inquired their health during visit of various wards of the hospital.

He also announced that Hospital would be soon provided CT scan and MRI scan machines.

Later on talking to media, the minister said that the Sindh Government was committed for the betterment of the improvement in hospitals which come under Labour Department and in this regard steps are being taken. The Government would ensure to spend the laborers money upon them, he said.

Despite after the 18th amendment in the constitution, federal government has not handed over various departments.

Replying to a question, minister said that Sindh government, KMC and DMCs combined their efforts for the drainage of rainwater. He said after continuous rains for two days in Karachi, now the situation of drainage was getter better.

He said provincial minister for Local Government Jam Khan Shoro is continuously monitoring the rain-related drainage.

Minister Shah said it was good thing if Rangers was assisting the local government's institution in improving the post-rain situation.
