Karachi University cancels admissions of four students

Karachi:17 July:The University of Karachi has cancelled the admissions of four students over charges of submitting tampered mark sheets.
An official of the institution said on Sunday that Admissions Director Prof Dr Muhammad Ahmed Qadri has notified that on verification from the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) the marks sheets of four candidates who were granted admissions in the 2017 Morning and Evening programmes have been found to be forged/tampered.

The students barred from the morning programme are Sohail Rehman, bearing roll number 847884, and Umemma Mirza, bearing roll number 857591, from Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
In the evening programme, the admissions of Ahsan Ali, bearing roll number 949751, Public Administration, and Nimra Zahid, bearing roll number 219188, Mathematics, were cancelled for submitting forged/tampered marks sheets.The news.
