Schools still inundated, depict indifference of departments

JACOBABAD:09 August: The district administration and education department of Jacobabad remained unmoved in draining out inundated Sindh government Sheeranpur Boys High School and government primary school for girls under flooded water in the result of a breach occurred in Beggari Waah (water channel) some two weeks ago. Hundreds acres of land, Sheeranpur Town and its adjacent areas also came under water. Raaz Khan Pathan, local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf alongwith members of civil society after visiting the areas lamented over poor performance of department and district administration and demanded higher authorities to take notice of the situation.Published in Daily Times, August
