Brother arrested for impersonating sister in People’s Medical University Entry Test

NAWABSHAH:30 November : A young boy in the make-up of a girl managed to appear at the pre-entry test at People’s Medical University (PMU). However, the women police on suspicion took custody of the candidate and on investigation he was proved male.

The young boy Nasir Rajput, had appeared in place of his sister Sabeeha Khan and succeeded in solving the paper. He was wearing earrings, bangles in hands, golden wig in hair and was wearing a woman’s costume.

The boy came from Mirpurkhas to appear in the entry test amid 4,662 girl candidates. The test was arranged at the new campus of the People’s Medical University. SHO Women Police Station Mariyam Bhurt said she saw his moustaches and carried him outside the examination place. She learnt that Nasir succeeded in entering the examination site after crossing police, Rangers and a team of National Testing Service (NTS), wearing ladies dress, showing admit card of his sister and walking like girls.
SHO said Nasir would be shifted to Police Station Baloo-ja-Quba while DSP Aijaz Tareen said it was a case of fraud and impersonation. He said that accused misused admit card and case of deception and imposture would be registered against him.

On the other hand accused Nasir Rajput said he was constrained to appear in place of his sister. Nasir said his sister had said she was not prepared to appear at the entry test.

Vice Chancellor Peoples Medical University Prof Azam Husain Yusufani said 4,662 girl candidates appeared at the entry test for 233 seats for which test was arranged by the NTS. He said how the boy entered in the test hall is the responsibility of the NTS. However contact could not be established with team of NTS.The news.
