Hyderabad:04 April: Eight impersonators and 112 copy cases were caught during the first paper (English) of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-11 examinations 2014 held in 10 districts on Thursday.
It was reported by monitoring and vigilance teams to Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Hyderabad Chairman Prof Eng Abdul Aleem Khanzada, according to a press release.
It says 62,802 candidates for SSC Part-11 appeared at 208 examination centres set up in the 10 districts Hyderabad, Dadu, Tando Mohammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Matiari, Shaheed Benazirabad and Jamshoro falling under BISE Hyderabad.
The board has formed 45 vigilance teams to check and stop use of unfair means during the examinations.
The report says 112 candidates were caught for using unfair means, including copying, mobile phones and others.
An invigilator was also disqualified for his irresponsibility during the examination.
